hello everyone just letting you know the recipe on the blog post has been updated to correspond with the one from my cookbook. It varies slightly as I used oil to pan fry and brown sugar instead of maple syrup. However, you can always pan fry without the oil and still use maple syrup!
I would definitely recommend a tofu press, it definitely takes your tofu game up a notch 🔥 I recently just got one and it replicates the texture of chicken way better than any other method!

I just subscribed to your channel and I’m going to make this tonight for supper. We don’t have any maple syrup, I know right? A Canadian without we will syrup. I ran out LOL but I do have some local honey so use that. We are not vegan but we are trying To eat a few meals a week that are meatless. I’m going to serve mine with udon noodles and steamed broccoli.

I made this tonight and am disappointed. The sauce tastes odd and not to my taste at all. Too salty and too much cornstarch.
