Tofu scramble for 3 servings, so for 3 days. Which means the meal needs to be re-heated :/ how? In microwave that changes molecular structure of water, which makes food quality trashy basically…? Not a fun of pre prep box meal for above reasons..

I went vegan 7 months ago, and I started training in the gym again 4 months ago and I have gained 7 kilos of lean muscle (with training) during that period. FYI- I'm 22, male, 6"4, 83kg current). I have always had a rapid metabolism and I'm very athletic. I track calories and macros to hit my 1g/lb bodyweight of protein per day and be in a caloric surplus etc (without struggle). My lifts have also progressed rapidly.

I honestly feel much better, in terms of sleep, energy, and my skin health (I struggle with acne). I do understand there are a few factors, it could just be because I am eating more fruit/veg, not necessarily because I cut out animal protein).

There is definitely a required process of educating yourself when transitioning a vegan diet, and coming up/researching meal ideas. But once you spend a little bit of time researching and trying different foods, I found that I have 20-ish solid high-protein recipes to meet my needs, (and no I don't just eat soybeans and tofu). Vegan alternatives are becoming ever-increasingly available which has made it very easy.

I used to believe the same nonsense about the vegan diet and mock vegans, believing that it was unsuitable for muscle-gaining but it's simply not true, it's a matter of learning what foods/meals you should eat. There are vegan foods that contain the essential amino acids etc, and other things like b12 can be supplemented easily.

I never try to convince my friends or anyone else to try a plant-based diet but a few have transitioned after asking me about it. I personally have been surprised by the success and will be sticking with it.

Anyway, just my two cents, I'm sure not many people will read this. Feel free to ask any questions, happy to answer.
