MUSIC LOVER says:

Can you make these ahead of time? If so, will they reheat in the oven well or will they dry out?

Tracy Kirkland says:

This looks delicious! I’m not vegan but I will make for my daughter who is and try it myself .

Jo D says:

I made the recipe & it’s actually good lol. I wasn’t too sure at first when I looked at it right after I took it out of the oven😅 I also added my own spices ( onion powder, garlic powder, chief spices, citrus pepper, salt)

Petra Thornewill says:

Looks great. Boiling makes a difference I think. Great tips. I’ve tried it before but not on the stove and not enough water.
Originally we would have meat or chicken with it .. what would You suggest to make with it. Thx

I love your recipes! Wonderful content and great flavors!

Mikaho Meh says:

Saving this for when/if the weather ever turns cooler. I don't think I had this dish non-vegan, but you made it look delicious. I am guessing miso paste would be a suitable alt to the bouillon? I like to try as close to the original recipe b4 I start messing with it too much… haha, although I do translate most things from "regular" to gluten free and veg. Thank you for doing what you do. You have have helped make quarantine and isolation more tolerable.

Garland Style says:

Liked it. Quite a few expensive ingredients. 🙁 Looks yummy.

Francisco Valera says:

eatingwithselina says:

Today was my 3rd time making this. I am officially obsessed

monsyd913 says:

I don't know if it's correct or not, but I grew up being told that au gratin potatoes are with cheddar cheese and scalloped potatoes are with a creamy white sauce like what you made here. Whichever way it's supposed to be, it looks delicious!

Hoppix says:

Not vegan, Not veg or anything … made this nonetheless, really good comfort food. Thanks for sharing.

Crezeran The Grey says:

And old ass wilted basil on top for no reason at all. I’m going to have an aneurysm

Crezeran The Grey says:

Why did you put pepper and nutmeg on top? Those burn easily and you’ll just have a bitter top

Crezeran The Grey says:

Guys. When you’re cooking anything with oil, please wait for the oil to get hot if you want any browning

Crezeran The Grey says:

False. Yukon gold potatoes are “waxy”, meaning not high in starch when compared to ‘starchy’ potatoes like russets. The “creamier” texture that comes as a result of using waxy potatoes is not creamy, and actually more gummy. Some people like that, but I like a little bite to my potato so I use russet

Dori M says:

This. Looks. Amazing!! A very high quality dish. It's detailed and scrumptious looking!🤣 Really looking forward to "scallop-ing" my own potato dish. This instrumental hit so damn hard too! Nice👏🏾

Susan Fisher says:

I love your channel and your such an inspiration for Vegan foods and as a person. I know you recently lost your fluffy living family member and I just lost my first pup named Lola. This was unexpected. Any words of wisdom to get through it? Thank you for being you 💜

Lise Juhl Hansen says:

First of all, congrats on 33,000 subscribers! 👏 When I started following you, we were just a few hundred!

I finally got around to making this dish today, really yummy!
True to myself, I was unable to follow even this simple recipe without tweaking it 🙈

Had to make it in a casserole plate as I have no oven safe pan. As you said, no problem at all.
Not enough cashews, mixed in some pine nuts, also delicious.
Added some Dijon to the sauce, and some sautéed mushrooms about half ways.

Whole family of five were extremely satisfied with this dish, now added to our rotation of recipes.

Thank you. For another great recipe, and for all the love and effort you put into your videos. Really high quality!
