While this video shows how cheap vegan food can be lets just remind us that u still need money for 1) lots of different spices 2) while per serving it sounds really cheap but u still need to buy all the products for one day which will be more then 3 dollars for one day (yes u would be able live by it for some days but not everybody has the chance to buy big, some have to go day by day ) 3) to live near a farmers market is not a normal thing, its a privilege and u might even need a car + to be flexible/free enough to go to a specific time for best prices is another privilege 3) kitchen utensils and machines are used 4) having more than an hour a day for cooking ONE meal of the day
So if ur are wondering why u struggle to have food like what they call cheap, its afforable for people with a certain financal base. Still good to learn budgeting! So dont feel bad it's not working for u!
