Recipe Adapted from: http://theprettybee.com/2016/04/chocolate-banana-bread-gluten-free-vegan-refined-sugar-free.html
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 cup coconut sugar (I used brown sugar instead)
⅓ cup organic coconut oil measure when solid, then melt it in the microwave
2 very ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
⅜ cup water
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF
2. Place the dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
3. Place the bananas in a separate bowl and mash with a fork. Add the melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar, and water.
4. Stir well.
5. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
7. Let cool completely in the pan before using the parchment paper to remove the loaf for slicing.

Hey y'all!
It's come to my attention that I made a typo in the written instructions and I just wanted let you know that I fixed it so it accurately reflects the measurements in the video now! Sorry about the confusion and thank you to everyone pointed it out in the comments below. Enjoy!💜
Tried this with coconut flour… it’s super dry. Don’t use coconut flour lmao. 😅
I have done this recipe for years now and i have to say it's the best I've ever tried always turns good the only think thou I put less sugar, thanks for sharing it with us
Thats called a chemtrail boo, not a jetstreak 🤦
I just made your recipe is awesome.
I made this recipe and it was phenomenal! So moist a delicious, and I was actually satisfied with one slice instead of wanted to eat the whole batch. The one thing I will say is that it was too sweet for my taste, which is unusual for me (I used coconut sugar because I had plenty of that on hand). Next time I make it I think I will use a third of the amount of sugar called for. And there will definitely be a next time! It seems I always have over-ripe bananas I haven't been able to eat in time, so I anticipate baking this banana bread again.
My fave recipe that since 1 year always works!!!
Squirrel!!!!
I've been searching for the ultimate vegan banana bread recipe and honestly, this is it!! I dispensed with the chocolate chips because I prefer the recipe plain and it was perfect. I had three over ripe bananas so I used less water and less brown sugar and it still turned out amazing. Highly recommend!!
I’ve made this three times now – I also used brown sugar instead of coconut sugar – it came out amazing, so moist and yummy! Thank you!
DELICIOUS. I added 1/4 tsp cinnamon but other than that, followed the directions exactly. It was perfect ❤ Ps 3/8 cup water is 6 Tbsp for anybody that needs it.
you said in the video to use 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar but its says 1 tsp in the description
Erin, thanks for the video. Going to make this today! Will let you know how it comes out.
Update: I used olive oil instead of coconut oil; came out great and was delicious! Ended up making 2 pans! Thank you!
Probé esta receta y el queque (como le decimos en mi país), salió maravilloso. Totalmente recomendado si están tratando de decidirse entre todas las recetas que hay, si duda lo agregaré a mi libro de recetas.
Muchas gracias!!! 🙂
I made this and it was delicious, thank you!
I followed everything that you’ve done in this video but it will not rise in the middle. .. Ive done it twice😩😩
Hi! So I tried your recipe and my siblings and parents LOVED this! Your recipe is bomb x 10!
I have 2 loaves in the oven right now. Can't wait.
