All the food that’s fit to eat (yes, it’s an official New York Times production).
That woman in the thumbnail looks ravenous.
There is actually a replacemt for butter! It’s called Myoko and it’s made with coconut oil. It is outstanding!
Getting sick and tired of them chatting about climate change. I know being vegan can reverse heart diseases but what is happening to the body when you REDUCE meat and consumption.
This is so fantastic!
It is now 2021. Look what not eating in 2020 meat has done! What a mess. Time to go back. (I am of course kidding)
The gal who had a boyfriend that hated mushrooms . . . he's not a keeper!
There’s a pandemic, and you want me to eat less meat? Why?
I'm "veganish" and I really enjoyed that my chinese american ex didn't need meat in every dish and was good at cooking tofu. I also thought of asian cuisine when she talked about just using a tiny bit of meat to flavor the dish rather than it being the main thing like my mom's potroast. Meat use to be kind of a delicacy and since america got relatively wealthy we eat a ton of it as a flex but at this point it's not doing us alot of good.
"There is nothing that can replace butter." Absolutely agree.
Shiitakes are especially verbal.
Miyoko's butter is amazing.

The simplest way is to try Indian vegetarian cooking (everything does not have coconut in it) We've been following the 80-20 rule since we were kids and it is a very healthy + happy life
love this approach!
i love vegan options as im lactose intorllerant. its great to know i wont have any issues eating the food. and vegan* food is coming a long way
*edit: spelling
I'm not vegan, but I've always been trying to eat more plantbased foods, just because it's better for me health-wise.
How to eat less meat- but then recommends eggs?? I get that eggs technically aren’t meat, but it’s definitely not very environmentally conscious to recommend people eat MORE of an animal product
Vegan butter..no difference
Have you tried Miyoko’s plant based butter?
Did u know growing beans causes more climate change than actual meat…. check out sacredcow.info for the full truth the vegan propaganda machine is at work here
We need to think about the fare of the poor animals rather than our preferences. I was raised on "meat" and it was hard to give it up but there is a lot of variety on food from plants.
Nerdy taxonomy point of order: mushrooms are not plants. Still good video and recipe, though:)
