I'd love to make these but my green lentils are split not whole. The whole lentils I have on hand a black and the small brown lentils. Would their be a difference in water and or instant pot cook time? Can I simmer salas, add water and proceed with cooking
to save time?
Some lentils were still hard, what can I do to fix this next time? I did 10 mins high pressure NR.
I got stuck when I saw you chop an onion with the skin on…..my OCD cannot handle that!
I didn’t have an instant pot so I followed the recipe and just simmered it on the stove until the water evaporated. Next time I’ll increase the water to 2 cups since the lentils were still a little hard for my preference, but overall they tasted great 🙂
I’m definitely going to make these again. Thanks for sharing!
