Thank you!! It took us years and on and off too and that is never really discussed! It seems like everyone just goes vegan overnight and no fails. That is not realistic. It can be slow and many times we went back to meat before it really stuck…so far. We also don't get so uptight. If we go somewhere and we have some dairy or meat, it happens and you just know that in our household and lifestyle we are vegan.

I'm not vegan. But I've been trying to incorporate more plant based/vegan food into my lifestyle. Finding better ways to make our food healthier. My husband isn't really trying to get down with it yet but I've been slowly introducing plant based/vegan ingredients/meals and then telling him later…oh by the way that was vegan 😂

Protein is highly overrated. The body tends to demand it when it needs it. Complete protein (containing all the amino acids) is as easy as combining your favorite beans with brown rice. Or, peanut butter on whole wheat bread. It's easy these days to learn how to eat well without animal products because of the convenience of the internet. Forty years ago, while I was raising my children, I read books and frequented health food stores to learn. Thanks for your video. Be well.

Wonderful Video! I mean LOVE this! It is So so perfect! When I started down the path of becoming Plant Based and eating Vegan it felt like entering a Cold Harsh world with a whole lotta "vegan police" and rules. I would yell at y'all and say WHERE WERE YOU ALL IN 2018!!!? lol But I see we started our journeys around the same time, so I forgive you ha! As I see you all were also figuring out this lifestyle. Your Vegan Taco Casserole recipe is Still one of my family favorites! I really LOVE that you all landed in a place of Love and Encouragement vs Legalism and Impossible standards! I think EVERYONE who is even thinking about becoming a Vegan should watch this! I am MUCH more flexible with this than you all, I sometimes eat Flammin Hots-Yikes! Not sure if that's Vegan?,.. but it is definitely NOT Plant Based! lol I would say my diet is 95% plant based and my hubby and kids are 80-90%. They will eat meat at a party or restaurant. But Im ok with that! We have Drastically decreased meat and animal products and our health is great! SoThank you for this, even after a few years, it's encouraging to know others on this journey out there who are committed to this lifestyle and who recognize the path may look different for each of us.
