Best Vegan Chocolate Cake

Here is my take on Vegan Chocolate Cake and this according to me is the best vegan cake recipe you’ll ever need. Its rich, moist, chocolaty and super delicious. Try it even if you are not a vegan!

IMP NOTE: I forgot to show when I added the Vinegar and the Vanilla.
Add it along with the wet ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

Vegan Chocolate Cake:

200 grams ( 1.5 cup ) All purpose Flour
28 grams ( 1/4 cup ) Cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
200 grams ( 1 cup) Granulated Sugar
120 ml ( 1/2 cup ) Vegetable oil
240 ml ( 1 cup) Boiling water
1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
1 tbsp White Vinegar
1tsp Vanila Extract

IMP NOTE: I forgot to show when I added the Vinegar and the Vanilla.
Add it along with the wet ingredients.

Vegan Chocolate Ganache:

250 grams Chopped Chocolate
180ml (3/4 cup) Coconut Cream

Garnish

Strawberries
Melted Chocolate
Sprinkles

Less Sweet Buttercream | Eggless | Frosting

Also known as Cooked Flour/ Ermine frosting it is delicious , not overly sweet and very easy to make. It has a delicate, light and creamy texture. This is my go to frosting.

227 grams ( 1 Cup) Softened Butter (Salted/Unsalted)
5 Tbsp All purpose flour
200 grams ( 1 cup) Granulated Sugar
240 ml ( 1 cup) Whole Milk

I wasn’t confident to make Cz every time I make something from YouTube – it always come out wrong but your vegan cake recipe came out perfect and was super moist. I would like to ask something about icing you made . After leaving it to room temperature , I whipped it with whisker but it’s consistency didn’t change as moose at all . I had to apply like that which didn’t came as good as yours . Any suggestion . I used exact quantity of chocolate and coconut cream . Plz suggest where was I wrong ? Thanks

I added the vinegar and it tasted really vinegary. I'd not suggest adding this much vinegar maybe 1/2 to 1 tsp won't give that vinegary taste. I'd rather like to compromise on the texture than the taste

Best cake ever. I used half the measurement from the recipe and made cupcakes out of it. I used soy milk instead of coconut cream for the ganache. The softest cake I've ever had. But obviously the consistency changes after putting it in the fridge
