    • How to Make Anything Vegan at Chipotle: the Complete Guide February 21, 2021
Since its inception in 1993, Chipotle has been generous with its vegan options. Plant-based patrons could always rely on a solid meal of rice, beans, fajita veggies, salsa, and guac for the first 20 years of this chain’s existence, but in 2013, Chipotle introduced the vegan sofritas—a game-changing option of spicy braised tofu. This build-your-own […]

Today, we celebrate the infinitely delicious ways ingredients can come together between two slices of bread. The great big world of vegan sandwiches is vast and complex, but for the sake of simplicity, we’re narrowing down the definition of “sandwich” to exclude hot dogs and burgers. In no particular order, we’ve created a bucket list […]

zrae says:

Thank you for sharing a dressing that doesnt require soaking nuts, a virgin sacrifice, and a billion hours of spare time lol. Your channel is the reason I am succeeding plant based!

zrae says:

@Cheap Lazy Vegan Love your channel, by the way. Vegan Canadians Unite!

Panda Princess says:

@zrae That is a genius idea! Love it!

@J Bell917 omg yesss!!! I thought I was doing something wrong lol

J Bell917 says:

@spac3tac0 me, too!

KichiMichi says:

I’m with you–this looks so simple and like it doesn’t involve using every dish and appliance in my kitchen to prepare [I do not have dishwasher]

alyssa obie says:

When you brought out the plate at the end I was like “okay how is she really about to pick up chickpeas with chopsticks” and that was literally the first thing you grabbed 😅

MidnightQueen says:

@@Make It Dairy Free – The rubber band method- you stack rubber bands around each chop stick at the desired distance from the eating end, then tie the 2 sticks together with another rubber band and gradually move them to the opposite end. This method I found works best for early learning since it allows you to have a bit more control. When you get the rubber bands to the farthest end, graduate to the pop bottle top method. There you drill a “V” shape in the top, poking a chopstick through each hole and wiggle it down to you desired point, eventually removing it. Just make sure to use a full sized bottle cap as some show using a water bottle top in tutorials for it. The pop bottle top just gives more room for error. With kids you can even make it a game, give them each like 5-20 balls about the same size and see how fast they can drop them into a cup or something. Have fun.

alyssa obie says:

I must practice… I have always been so bad with chopsticks, meanwhile my son learned it when he was 3 🙄

alyssa obie says:

MidnightQueen thank you!!!!

Make It Dairy Free says:

@MidnightQueen thank you so much, totally going to do them. We homeschool too so this great for motor skills too!

T. O. says:

My grandma learned how to use chopsticks by picking up green peas one by one (she was an old white woman about to go on her first of several trips to China, either learn or starve really)

Merkadees says:

I have never taken the skin off my chickpeas before, I didn’t even know that was a thing

Yoga With Bird says:

Shia K. That makes sense now!

Mike Platt says:

I’m pretty sure if you make humus, it’ll be way better if you take the skin off. I made it with the skin on and didn’t like the texture at all.

Make It Dairy Free says:

I get why some people need too but I don’t have that kind of time hahahha

eatingwithselina says:

I only remove the skin when I am making hummus. It makes a big difference 🙂 I think it’s not necessary when you are adding it to stews or salads

Make It Dairy Free says:

@eatingwithselina that makes sense

turtleflow says:

Love Bok Choy 🥬 Never had it raw either. Can’t wait to try it. 😋

Catriona Garde says:

Wow you read my mind. I always end up with leftovers from my pak choi when I make my favourite soup. Now I know what to do with it! Thank you. Supernice hair btw.

Cheap Lazy Vegan says:

yayy!! hope you like it! and thank you so much : )

Panda Princess says:

I just love you for simplifying things. I rarely have to go shopping for ingredients after watching your videos. Bok choy is a game changer for me as well, it lasts much longer in the fridge than lettuce or spinach. You have been a huge inspiration to my diet over the years 💕

Cheap Lazy Vegan says:
