I made these today for a birthday gathering, and they were a complete hit! Of course, you can’t mimic lobster exactly, but these are still really good. I used furikake seasoning in place of seaweed. Delicious!

I guess it comes from cultural/gastro differences but it was so funny to me that you said seaweed is not accessible… we have it in any medium size store but never seen heart of palm anywhere in Hungary yet

When I made this recipe I didn't have the seaweed and all I could taste was the citric acid in the hearts of palm. Did I miss a step. It did not taste like lobster at all.

I made these last week. They were so good! The were so good straight out of the oven. But eating them then next day, they're not as great. But popping them in the microwave makes them so good. I used them so my cousins could decorate Halloween cookies, so heating them up would cause the icing to melt, but for me, since i don't like anything on my sugar cookies, they were great microwaved for 7-8 seconds

Tried this recipe and it tastes so good, my boyfriend is not vegan but he wouldn’t stop eating it lol. It was my first time trying hearts of palm, it’s nothing like lobster which is more soft but it does have a neutral taste which you can just season it and has a crunch to it, which I didn’t mind at all!

I've never ate any kind of sea food either, or any kind of wild game. I stopped eating meat all together when I was a very young child on my own cause I made the connection. Went vegan over ten years ago & now at nearly 40 I couldn't imagine living life any other way!! Anyways, I can't wait to make these for my husband.
