Since its inception in 1993, Chipotle has been generous with its vegan options. Plant-based patrons could always rely on a solid meal of rice, beans, fajita veggies, salsa, and guac for the first 20 years of this chain’s existence, but in 2013, Chipotle introduced the vegan sofritas—a game-changing option of spicy braised tofu. This build-your-own […]

Saswati Dash says:

Malai kofta veganised and Bake the koftas instead of deep frying. There's No reason to push making one of my favourite dishes of my past life (i am not technically a vegan, but paneer and malai don't exist in my present 'perfect' tense) in their fantabulous Avatar. Thanks for trying out baking koftas and sharing this precious nugget of wisdom.

truepeacenik says:

If you cannot get the fenugreek leaves, would either micro greens or sprouts from the seeds work? Seeds are easy to get in my area.

Jenna Li says:

this channel is going to turn me vegan

Me (No, not Ashildr, I had the name before Doctor Who, and I'm not changing it!) says:

Indian (and all other) restaurants closing because of lockdowns has been really hard on me. But without that, I would have probably never learned how to cook Indian recipes at home 😊 Can't wait to make my own kofta.

Nikita says:

If you are worried about over boiling the potatoes, you can steam them so it doesn't really soak the water

Krystal Rossi says:

I want it now… But it’s almost 5 am.

shankoff1 says:

Why cook the raw cashews? It makes no sense. The raw cashews themselves will create a plant based milk.

Rose says:

It’s so hard to be veg/vegan and also allergic to cashews 😭 they’re in every recipe

LM SJ says:

This was so good!! I was scraping the gravy with my finger from the plate so that nothing was left. THAT GOOD! Amazing vegan recipe. Thank you Nisha! You have a great sense of humor, which makes watching the video very pleasant.

Hiran Bhatt says:

Hmmm are you a Guju?

Armah The Trainer says:

What do most people do with the extra oil? Do you reuse it, throw it in the trash, down the sink, or what?

No one says:

I always order malai kofta when I go to an Indian restaurant, I am so excited to veganise it.

Jennifer Mayfield says:

Looking forward to making this at home very soon. Going to make a gluten-free bread to go with this meal. Not sure what kind of bread yet. Thank you for your recipes. I appreciate what you're doing. Sincerely

André Brehm says:

Tolles Gericht 🧑‍⚖️ schön gemacht Grüße aus der Crazy Küche

TheCHADsession says:

Looks beautiful!
How spicy is the finnished dish? My partner has baby mouth and likes things mild

Hutzel Butz says:

I really enjoy your recipes! Well done! Can you please also investigate the problems with avocado and almond farms and their effects on the environment and add a warning on NOT to use those two ingredients (as well as almond milk). Much appreciated. Thank you

Kat Chan says:

I need to try this.

The dance just adds to your charm!

Erick Luviano says:

Gunna start referring to my man parts as my “kofta” 😂

Julia Nijhof says:

Made this recipe a while ago and it's the best thing I've eaten in ages! I didn't have cashews so I blended the gravy with soft tofu to thicken it/make it creamy. Amazing!!

Francois Swanepoel says:

Hi, While I was in the U.S I came across this random indian restaurant and once ordered Navratan korma – believe they used cream hence it was not vegan.. Could you please make your version of a Vegan Navratan Korma!!!Honestly there is no better meal!I would fly back just for the Navratan Korma dish. I tried various ways to replicate the dish – although it came out delicious, it was never as good. I can still remember the flavour.

Aly Sunderji says:

Nisha are you Gujarati?

Sascha Cajandig says:

I found your website through Pinterest! I love all of your instant pot recipes! I've basically been doubling all of the recipes in my pressure cooker during these times since there are 5 of us at home all day and it helps to have leftovers.

Alsooooo I'm basically a weeaboo for Indian food and I learned almost everything I know about Indian food from the Spice Up the Curry blog by Kanan Patel. All of her recipes are vegan! My favorites are the Masala Kichidi and the Gujarati Kadhi🤤 It would be so cool if you could collab with her! I've basically been making her recipes for the past year and a half.

Michael Crumpton says:

When are you going to do an Indian foods cookbook?

RawTubeTV says:

I just found your channel a couple of days ago and, the food looks delish, but seeing your beautiful smile pop up on my feed makes me feel so happy!!!!! 🙂 Thank you for bringing some joy into my life!!!!
