I tried the Plant Kitchen mushroom pie and tempura cauliflower this week and both left me disappointed. The tempura cauliflower just didn't seem to crisp up as much as I would have expected it to despite cooking it to the instructions. Having said that, it was edible and filled a gap. What really disappointed though was the mushroom pie but for the opposite reason namely, the pastry was crispy and tasted lovely, the mushroom filling was plentiful and the gravy looked unctuous but where was the seasoning??? I never add salt to my food but found myself searching for some in my cupboard in order to make the content palatable…

Yum! The sweet potato croquets in the last dish looked sooooo yummy and yes English is a hard language. 😂😂 American English to British English (more the slang really) is like going from Spanish to Klingon.
