Made this flavourful yummy cake. Everyone had seconds and requested the recipe. Great combination of flavours & easy. Loved it!

I have made this twice (once for a birthday) and it's really easy and comes out amazingly.

The only thing to be aware of is that unless you store it in a fridge the cream cheese icing will only last 3 or 4 days (and less if you live somewhere hot).
If there's plenty of you to eat it that won't be a problem but what I do is only ice half the cake and then ice the second half when we come to eat it. The cake itself stays fresh for about 8 days.

Don't add vegetable oil but add equal amounts of butter.

We make ginger tea add a small PC in your tea while its brewing and strain it off it's the best remedy for cold during winters.

We must find a healthier substitute for vegetable oil. I bet olive oil would work. Also, I’m afraid there’s so much ginger that it would be overwhelming…. ginger powder, crystallized ginger, and then juice of ginger in icing!? Wow! I love ginger, but… 😉 looks delicious.

portion and I feĺl asleep after wards that bristol cream is very strong did u put bristol cream in that trifle 330ml in wow please get back cooking on the tv I love u cooking
