Vegan Kimchi Recipe (onion & garlic-free, vegan/vegetarian version)

✿ Veganlovlie Recipes / Vegan Kimchi – How To Make : There are many different versions of kimchi out there and after experimenting a few times, I came up with this version that I like very much. This version is vegan/vegetarian and also onion and garlic-free but feel free to add these in to suit your taste. I have also substituted Korean red pepper flakes (Gochugaru) for my usual chili powder. The taste was quite close but Gochugaru do add an extra depth of flavour. So, if you can find it, I do recommend you use it.

I do love red kimchi but my favourite is baek kimchi witch is white non spicy i make it all the time but i make mine quite fruity love the sour ness to it i ferment mine for 20 days untill it gets really fizzy and sour and tangy love kimchi💖

I watched several videos and liked the look of your recipe best. Especially the making of the porridge for spicing the veggies. It was a total success. My go-to recipe now. I tend to chop the cabbage up at the beginning – even before salting it – and then just stir everything together. Other than that, your recipe.
