I’m enjoying squeezing out as much sunshine as possible too now that summer is coming to a close. Decided to lose weight and use a hiking trip in October and my 40th bday as motivation. Downloaded cronometer based on a recommendation from a colleague. It led me to incorporate more whole food plants. I’ve lost 21 lbs so far. Thanks for sharing useful info!

This is exactly what I was looking for! My protein levels have been low. Red lentils to pasta sauce. Mind. Blown!
@Marianne Kiss I buy Vegan protein powder(check if it is heavy metal free certified) and add a spoon or two to my oats or cereal every morning along with all the berries and seeds/nuts.
I started eating a mainly plant based diet about 3.5 years ago after having a really unhealthy relationship with food. I just had some routine bloodwork done and my doc was so impressed with all of my readings she said I shouldn’t even need to get it tested for 5 years – I love eating this way!! Thanks so much for the food inspiration!!

What are some of your favorite plant based meals?
Routine blood does not detect nutrients deficiencies easily. And once it detects them, you will be already severely deficient. Don’t trust this guy, he’s obviously on steroids or something. A vegan diet depletes you of vitamin b12, Vitamin A, Omega-3 and iodine, just to name a few (there are 15 things you will be deficient in)

This guy is on steroids mate, don’t trust the shine. A vegan diet makes you deficient in like 15 nutrients. Works well at the beginning because you get off junk foods, but after a few years you will start having many health problems as the deficiencies become more and more profound.
