I am so proud to Welsh & cooking some #veganised classic dishes from my country was really fun. In the video I make, glamorgan sausages, which I can describe as to something similar to a croquette packed full of lovely sautéed #Welsh leek. I also make Welsh rarebits, which were so tasty, basically fancy cheese on toast & of course as a sweet, I had to make #WelshCakes, this little pan cooked cakes are beautiful. Please try these recipes and let me know what you think.

Hey Guys!! Really proud to make these recipes, many of you wouldn’t of heard of. From the country I’m from & love. WALES, in the UK. I promise where ever you are in the world, you’d love these dishes. Please give them a go & share the video if you enjoy it. Wales is only a small country, so please share the video 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💚

y m says:

Hi, i bought your book 2 weeks a go.
Your book was my first vegan book. keep going with your goals. 🙂

عالم فاطمة حجاجي Fatima Hjaji World says:

Wow

Jack Appleseed says:

avantgardevegan I have some questions. Are you a graduate from a culinary university or something? I am a vegan myself and I want to be a professional chef. Vegan chef of course. But the problem is that in culinary universities they make people cook flesh of dead animals, and even taste it. Its horrible. Did you have to go through this?

Megan M. says:

avantgardevegan I love your books they got me to cook more. I would love to meet you one day. Do you have any good cake recipes?

Katt AD says:

I’m Welsh, I’ve just converted to vegan after two plus years vegetarian, this is the channel for me ♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Sweetnatural says:

My seven year old watched the video with me and said you should have a restaurant. He also said he likes your music. I agree, I’ve made a few of your recipes already and they are delicious! My husband is a photographer/editor/videographer so I know a little something. I must say the cinematography of your videos are superb! I really enjoy watching them! Keep up the great work!

Iva Zzzz says:

He is so talented and cute I can’t even

Kat says:

You look so happy in this video! Nothing beats recreating vegan versions of food you grew up with! You deserve a lot more subscribers. I’m from the US but would definitely give these a try! I never even heard/tried of Welsh food to be quite honest with you! 😮 This video will be changing that

glora cruikshanks says:

love the vids! before being vegan, Charcuterie board was the norm for me on the weekends. Cheese, salamis, crackers, and such are what I miss the most and would love to have a vegan version. Just putting that out there for you, if your bored and have a few minutes lol

jenna daneels says:

Your recipes are absolutely amazing!!! My tastebuds (and even those of my non-vegan family) thank you! Although I avoid nuts and soy by necessity, I have found sunflower seeds to make a decent replacement for cashews in many recipes. What are your thoughts for swapping ingredients in this “cheese sauce”?

Laura says:

Legit. If you open a restaurant, i will travel wherever it will be to taste your glorious food.

عالم فاطمة حجاجي Fatima Hjaji World says:

Me too

Beyond Me says:

Me too…

Lina Vertelyte says:

My life’s ambition: Being affluent and then hiring you as my personal chef

Heidi Hollister says:

We as an audience are lucky to witness your passion for vegan food. It is an extra level above when you meld that passion into your personal history. Thank you.

Okamsen says:

So sad to see how few views this channel gets even though all videos are so well produced and the recipes look so damn delicious. Please keep up the work!

Brian O'Neill says:

His last video got 101,750 views! That’s pretty great for a vegan channel. I cooked the lasagna myself and posted about it and loads of people were asking me for the recipe… so of course I shared it. I think word is definitely getting there. 🙂

Wessley says:

Its because hes a fucking pretentious wet-lettuce.

Bobby Light says:

Great fade by the way your barber knows whats up

jennyy123021 says:

Immediately upon watching this, my boyfriend and I put everything on hold and made ALL THREE OF THE DISHES. They were incredible! Part of his family is Welsh and he is over the moon at making some of his childhood favorites. You and your team are doing such a good job–thank you for all of your hard work!

ANN FAIL-Smith says:

I KNOW GUYS HE IS SOO GOOD 😁

Ross Tayler says:

If anyone’s struggling to find tapioca, or doesn’t want to buy it specially to make the rarebit, I just tried this by blitzing up the rest of the ingredients and then adding them to a standard roux (3 tbsp plain flour, 3 tbsp olive oil) over heat and stirred until it thickened up. Did the rest exactly as described and it worked out great! Cheers Gaz!

Jiki says:

You can also use potato starch or corn starch if you have them

moominjean says:

Mmmm I’m part Welsh and love that you’ve veganised welsh cakes.

iDareYou says:

I watch all these videos religiously, and then I make lentils and rice 😂

Elie The Prof says:

Just add some onions, carrots, potatoes, canola oil and seasonings 😉

Selma Begovic says:

Hahahahahahhahaahahha or oatmeal and Salad

Jennifer S says:

Some of my favorite travel memories have been from Wales! You’ve literally made all the lovely things I’ve had throughout my travels there. Glamorgan sausage in the south, Welsh cakes in Usk, rarebit in a pub I can’t remember where… I miss it so much! I will make every one of these recipes, thank you!

Tiara Letrice says:

I love that you brought us some vegan alternatives from your home country!

Benedetta Tello says:

Some of the most incredible dishes I’ve ever seen, will 100% give each on a try. Big up the Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

jesusbonnie says:

After watching a documentary on Netflix call “What the health” the wife and I are making a transition to a plant base lifestyle. This can be overwhelming since we have meat eaters since day one. So watching you make these recipes is making me more at ease since these recipes are easy to follow. What got me hook to your cooking was your ramen and vegan egg since eggs is a huge staple of my nutrition. Wish you the best in your endeavors for you will own your restaurant soon. God bless.
